Lower Boulder Creek is open and groomed
Finally a picture of a groomed trail without a bunch of downed trees! We groomed the Boulder Creek trail today to Roger Lake Y. The county is not grooming from the other side because of low snow conditions and trees down. There was not enough snow to build the berm from the snopark to the trailhead but the road is covered with a thick layer of compact snow. Snow depth is pretty shallow in Boulder, 6" to 8" in the lower section below Roger Lake Y so we were not able to fill the cattle guards; ride with caution in these areas. The trees and rocks have been removed from the trail, now it just needs more snow.
